About the Event

UPDATE: As of 7/9, all slots are full, however you are welcome to sign up for the waiting list in a first-come-first-serve order and will be contacted immediately should a registered member is suddenly unable to make it to the event.

EVENT: Community Beach Clean Up

WHAT TO EXPECT: LbE Hawaii signed up to have a "team" to work alongside other teams and individuals from the community at one of several beaches during the Islandwide Beach Clean Up event, organized by Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii (SCH). SCH will provide the bags, gloves, sanitizer, and will organize all of the trash pick up.

WHO CAN REGISTER: LbE Hawaii Team Members - you will need to register to attend this FREE event, however, the LbE team only has limited spots available. The organizers are limiting registrants to this event to comply with social distancing guidelines. You MUST register to attend this event.

SELECTION: Registration will be open to ALL LbE Leaders, but because there are limited slots for LbE's team, we may need to make a selection on who will be able to attend. In general, we will also make selections on a first-come-first-served basis or will make a preference on more active Leaders or Leaders who have an interest in sustainability. Selection results will be made almost instantly after registering, but will be determined no later than Thursday, July 9th.

PURPOSE OF EVENT: July is Plastic Free Month! Let's take this opportunity to fulfill our kuleana as role models as a sustainability-minded organization and to reconnect with LbE ohana. LbE Hawaii is a strong supporter of Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii.
