Full Day Kuleana Program & Field Trip - October 8, 2019
Mini Kuleana program - spend half-day indoors doing standard Project Paradise activities, think about sustainable development goals, then break out into one of six field trips around the island where students become inspired in sustainable development.

What is Kuleana - Sustainable Hawaii Education Program (SHEP)
Mission: To inspire our future generations in discovering their kuleana in restoring the circular balance of humanity and the natural world through learning the complex interconnections of island sustainability.

Activities
- Hale Aloha (Cultural Presentation)
- Cultural Seminar
- GameShow in Paradise (tablet will be provided for use during activity)
- Exploration UH Manoa (must have a smartphone device with DATA to lend to students)
- Aloha+ Challenge Sustainable Development Discussion & Fieldwork Preparation
- Field Trip Dismissal - (everyone to be divided in 6 different field trip groups)

- Bishop Museum
- Pearl Harbor
- Hawaii Plantation Village
- Sea Life Park
- Diamond Head Hiking Trail
- Beach Clean Up
*Islanders will get to choose their top 3 choices of which field trip group they'll be assigned to. LbE Hawaii will accommodate these requests as best as possible. Islanders who have completed more events will have a higher priority.
Compensation
Bronze & Silver (1~10 events completed) - $108.00 + 250 Paradise Points
Gold (11~15 events completed) - $126.00 + 300 Paradise Points
Platinum (16+ events completed) - $135.00 + 350 Paradise Points
Bento lunch to be provided
